With the advent of the COVID 19 pandemic, many thousands of people in Phuket’s poorest communities have been left without employment and no means to feed themselves and their families. Together with Villa Market Thailand and the Class Act Media group of companies, we run a campaign to make it as easy as possible to donate food to the communities. A barcode has been set up at all Villa Market supermarkets that allow people visiting the shops to scan the barcode whenever that buy any items from the chain. These donations and converted to food packs and distributed directly to the communities by Help Phuket Today with the assistance of the Phuket tourist Police and the local Or Bor Tors.
